Don't let the pale colour of this port trick you; it's intense stuff. Aged for 7 years in small oak casks, it has developed gorgeous nutty aromas along with caramel and raisins.
Dirk Niepoort owns one of the most prestigious independent port houses in Portugal. The vines used to make this port are up to 30 years old and very low yielding. The grapes are hand picked, foot trodden and aged in large old oak casks.
The Niepoort family have been making port since 1842. 5 generations of experience make the ports extremely desirable. We're very proud to be stocking three of their excellent port. |
