Puligny-Montrachet, Les Pucelles 2008

French Wines > Burgundy White
The colour is pale golden with light silvery reflections.
The nose opens on small dried fruits like almonds, hazelnuts. The aeration leaves place to yellow fruits (apricot, peach) which remind sun. The first taste is quite smoothly and soft to be followed by a very beautiful freshness and a lively effect. Power and sensual delight are the key words of this Puligny Premier Cru. A lot of purity gets free in finish accompanied with a light grilled and spicy point, sign of its ageing in oak barrels during 16 months.
