Argentina Red Wines
BACKGROUND
The areas in the foothills of the Andes, and in particular Mendoza, have always be found to be the most successful region for grape growing. More recently Argentina has become best known for red wines produced from the Malbec grape. Nowadays synonymous with the wines of the country this grape has both fruit and substance as illustrated with our RESERVE PAMPAS DEL SUR MALBEC.
The vines planted in Argentina came from Chile in 1556, the making of wine for sacramental use being the predominant incentive.
